On Sunday 22nd June, Petersfield Lions Club were proud to take part in this years Marwell Day, we sponsored a group of Children along with Helpers from Home-Start Butser in Petersfield to attended this years Marwell Wildlife 105SC fun day.
This was part of a Lions District 105SC event, where Lions Clubs from Central Southern England, joined forces to take groups of young people including those less fortunate, disabled and vulnerable members of our community, for a day of fun at Marwell Zoo. After an initial greeting by a friendly Lion at the entrance, the children were free to enjoy the zoo, with extra activities organised in the main hall, with about 700 children and helpers booked, the weather stayed fine and everyone had a lovely day.
