Petersfield Lions organised our third Lion Hunt on the Heath on Saturday 25th July
We had our gazebo all setup ready by 11am on a very hot day. Aimed at children aged 2-11years old, they were given a question paper, pencil and map to find answers on the 11 posters around the Heath Pond, with information on Lions Clubs and our activities within the community. On completion the children were given a voucher for a FREE “99 Ice Cream” and their paper could go into a draw to win a Large Cuddly Lion. We were very busy with 51 children taking part. The children enjoyed it and we had some very positive feedback. The parents liked the fact it made the children walk all around the pond without complaining. At 4pm we packed away.
Logan was the lucky winner drawn at random. He was presented with his Lion at The Plump Duck on Saturday 1st August, by Petersfield Lion President Steve Kett and event organiser Lion Jackie Read.
Logan’s answer to the question “What would you like to do to make the world a better place?” was “Tidy Planet”.
Logan was pleased to have won and is thinking of calling his Lion Ralf.
