It was a very warm evening and a warm welcome to everyone who attended our Club’s 54th birthday at Miso Asia on Wednesday 27th May.
The Petersfield Club’s Charter date was 24th March 1972. A potted history can be found on this website.
At the beginning of the evening Lion President Lin Piatek welcomed everyone, including our guest Lesley Farrow, representing the Town Council, Lesley has been a great friend & support to us for many years.
Lin thanked everyone for their efforts over this past busy year, from a Prostate Testing Day, various Stalls, Marshalling at the Swan Surgery Vaccinations, to Litter Picks and much more, it has been much appreciated. We also badged up 3 new members over the course of the year. We are living up to our motto – “we serve”.
The evening continued with a very enjoyable meal.
