On Monday 10th February, Petersfield Lions Jackie & Sandra presented a set of “Wild Tribe Heros” books to the pupils at Petersfield Infant School during their morning assembly. The children were very excited to receive them and they will be a great addition to the schools refurbished library.
Mrs Crissy Hodgkinson, Headteacher, said “We truly appreciated Lion Jackie Read & Lion Sandra Manktelow visiting us today. Thank you so very much for the extremely generous donation of the Wild Tribe Heros books. We are very grateful and we know the books will be very much enjoyed by many of our children here at Petersfield Infant School. Thank you for spending time with us at Assembly this morning. The children were so excited to be presented with the books and to hear about the animals in each of the stories. It was so nice to have ‘Special Visitors’ with us today and we truly appreciate your time and your kindness.”
