Petersfield Lions Club held their Charter, a celebration of the 52nd year since formation, with an excellent lunch at The Half Moon, Sheet, on Sunday 14th April.
The Club were pleased that guests of honour, Petersfield Town Mayor JC Crissey and Councillor Jamie Mathews were able to attend.
In a short speech, Lion Club President, Trevor Copping outlined some of the Club’s fundraising and community service achievements within the last 10 months, allowing them to donate over £11,000 to deserving good causes in the Petersfield area, as well as some National and International appeals.
