Petersfield Lions Club’s annual Presidential changeover took place at Winton House on Saturday 2nd July. Outgoing Lion President Clive Midson thanked everyone in the club for their support over the past year before handing over the chain of office to incoming Lion President Sandra Manktelow. As the club continues in its 50th year celebrations since Chartering (forming) in 1972, Sandra said she was looking forward to the year ahead, we already have various fundraising events lined up, including a Charity Bridge Tea on Saturday 9th September, our Toy Tombola Stall will be at the South Downs Show and the Petersfield Festivals to name a few, helping local deserving causes as well as national and international, along with regular social social events.
